It is strictly forbidden to use new Stainless Steel Wire rope directly under high speed and heavy load:

The new stainless steel wire rope should not be used immediately under high-speed and heavy-load conditions, but should be run under low-speed and medium-load conditions for a period of time, so that the new wire rope can adapt to the use state first, and then gradually increase the running speed of the wire rope to increase the load. In other words, the rope must be initially run-in before high-speed and heavy-duty operation.

2. It is strictly forbidden for steel wire ropes to skip jobs:

When using stainless steel wire rope and pulleys, care must be taken to prevent the wire rope from jumping out of the wheel groove. If the wire rope is still used after leaving the wheel groove, the wire rope will be deformed, kinked, broken wires and broken strands. This will seriously shorten the service life of the wire rope. If the rope breaks, there are usually very serious consequences.

Severe shock and vibration are strictly prohibited:

When using stainless steel wire rope, if the operating speed changes rapidly, shock loads will occur. Although it may only load momentarily, it lacks a great security risk. When the impact load exceeds the allowable working stress of the wire rope, the impact is damaged. Even if the shock load does not necessarily cause the rope to break, multiple shocks can seriously shorten the life of the rope. For a rope that has been used for a while, the impact resistance will be reduced compared to a new rope due to poor elasticity.

4. It is strictly forbidden to squeeze and deform the wire rope:

The stainless steel wire rope should not be strongly squeezed during use to avoid deformation of the wire rope, resulting in structural damage, early broken wire (martensitic brittle layer structure), broken strands or even broken rope, which significantly reduces the service life of the steel wire rope and endangers work safety.

5. When the stainless steel wire rope is running at high speed, it is forbidden to rub against other objects:

When the stainless steel wire rope is running at high speed, it should avoid friction with other objects outside the unmatched wheel groove. Because at high speed, the instantaneous frictional heat between the steel wire rope and these objects may cause martensitic structure to appear on the surface of the steel wire. Although this structural change cannot be distinguished by the naked eye, it is the main cause of early fractures in the wire.

6. Dispersed winding of stainless steel wire rope is prohibited:

When winding on the reel, the wire rope should be arranged as neatly as possible. If scattered and twisted, the wire rope structures will be squeezed and damaged during operation, resulting in early wire breakage, which directly affects the service life of the wire rope.

7. It is strictly forbidden to use stainless steel wire rope for overloading:

If the stainless steel wire rope is overloaded, the degree of extrusion deformation will increase rapidly, and the degree of wear between the inner and outer steel wires and the matching wheel groove will seriously damage its working safety and shorten the service life of the pulley.

8. Strictly control the running speed:

The lower the operating speed, the less damage to the stainless steel wire rope. As the running speed increases, the damage to the stainless steel wire rope also increases accordingly. Therefore, sharp changes in speed, sudden and severe loads, and severe braking should be avoided during operation to reduce damage to the wire rope. The service life of the wire rope is much higher than the medium running speed
